Travis Kleist was born in Long Beach, California. His family settled in Riverside, California when he was just a toddler. He completed all of his education there and when he was eighteen years old, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. After spending two years overseas, he returned to San Diego and finished his enlistment. He then moved to Menifee, California where he now lives and shares his life with his wife Kellie, and three daughters, Marissa, Chevelle and Layla.
